Kendall Housing Authority HCV wait list is closed. It opened Oct. 11, 2022 and closed later that day.

THIS WAIT LIST NOW CLOSED--The State of Illinois Rental Housing Support Program (RHSP) WAS  accepting pre-applications for the KHA RHSP waiting list program 

Wait list opened September 7, 2022, at 10:00 am and CLOSED September 7, 2022, at 4:00p.m. 

RHSP is not the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8). It is not able to be transferred to other housing authorities (not portable). Participants must rent a specific unit with a specific eligible landlord (similar to a project based program). Households in the program will pay approximately 30% of their income in rent based on a contribution schedule.

This WAS  a fully web-based pre-application process. 

Pre-applications will be chosen for the below unit types:

100- 2 Bedroom Unit
50- 3 Bedroom Unit
30- 4 Bedroom Unit
30- 5 Bedroom Unit
