NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 2024 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) & 2019 ACTION PLAN AMENDMENT #8-SUBSTANTIAL
The DuPage Community Development Commission presents the draft Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) programs. This report summarizes the accomplishments of these programs for the period of April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Additionally, DuPage County is preparing Amendment #8-Substantial, to is 2019 Action Plan to: 1) Reduce CDBG-CV Admin funds by $55,845 to a total of $190,388; 2) Reduce CDBG-CV Public Service funds by $259,541 to a total of $1,282,277; 3) Reduce CDBG-CV Special Needs Facilities funds by $19,750 for a total of $1,880,250; 4) Add CDBG-CV Municipal Infrastructure funds totaling $335,136.
The links to the 2024 CAPER and 2019 Action Plan Amendment #8-Substantial have been forwarded to nonprofit agencies, public libraries, municipalities and townships throughout the DuPage County Consortium area, which includes any municipality wholly or partly in DuPage County.

For interested organizations or individuals without access to the internet, a reasonable number of free copies of the plan will be made available upon request by contacting the DuPage County Community Development Office at 630-407-6600. Draft documents will be made available in a form accessible to persons with disabilities, upon request. The plan may be viewed in person at the Community Development Commission office, 421 N. County Farm Road, Room 2-800, Wheaton, Illinois, 60187 from 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
The comment period for the 2024 CAPER will run from June 5, 2025, through June 20, 2025. Comments by interested citizens and organizations can be made in writing via mail to 421 N. County Farm Road., Room 2-800, Wheaton, IL 60187 or via email communitydev@dupagecounty.gov, up until 4:30 pm on June 20, 2025.
The comment period for the 2019 Action Plan Amendment #8-Substantial will run from June 5, 2025 through July 7, 2025. Comments by interested citizens and organizations can be made in writing via mail to 421 N. County Farm Road., Room 2-800, Wheaton, IL 60187 or via email communitydev@dupagecounty.gov, up until 4:30 pm on July 7, 2025.
